Return & Refund Policy — Furnish Direct

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The item must be in its original condition: unused, unassembled, complete (accessories and hardware) and in its original packaging.

Return fees

  • Change of mind: a handling fee of 10% of the price paid for the item, plus the cost of the prepaid return label. For a standard parcel, the label usually costs $15 to $35. These fees are deducted from your refund.
  • Bulky items (gazebos, sofas, patio sets, sheds, inflatable spas and any item shipped by a specialty carrier): the label cost depends on the carrier.
  • Either way, we confirm the exact amount before you ship, so you can still decide to keep the item.
  • No fee if the item is defective, damaged on delivery, not as described, or if we made an error. The return is then entirely free.

Process — read before returning anything

  1. Contact support before sending anything back, at info@ameublodirect.ca or (1) 514-292-7788, with your order number and, if the item is damaged or defective, photos.
  2. We reply within 2 business days with your return authorization, the label and shipping instructions.
  3. Ship the item following the instructions you receive.

Items returned without prior authorization are not accepted and cannot be refunded. We do not accept in-person returns: all returns are handled by carrier.

Refunds

Once the item is received and inspected, we will tell you whether the refund is approved. It is issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, less any applicable return fees. Your bank may add its own processing delay.

Shipping damage

Inspect your order on arrival. Any damage must be reported to us with clear photos within 48 hours of delivery.

Non-returnable items

  • Assembled or modified items
  • Items without their original packaging
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Gift cards
  • Requests made more than 30 days after delivery

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the one you have and place a new order.

Warranty

Every product carries a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing or material defects, valid for the original purchaser only. Damage caused by misuse, improper installation or modification of the product is excluded.
