Collection: Shower Chairs & Bath Benches

Choosing a shower chair

• Height: adjustable legs keep the feet flat on the floor with knees at a right angle.
• Backrest and arms: they help you sit down and stand up and give support during the shower.
• Tub or shower: a transfer bench straddles the tub wall so you can get in seated instead of stepping over.
• Feet: non-slip rubber tips keep the chair from sliding on a wet floor.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a shower chair and a transfer bench?

A chair sits inside the shower or tub. A transfer bench extends outside the tub: you sit down outside, then slide in.

Can a rolling shower chair go over the toilet?

Some multi-purpose models can. Check the height and intended use on the product page.
